We have great news to share! The Dalton Noon Lions Club will resume sponsorship of the Dalton Christmas Parade this year!

For your convenience, the parade application and entry rules can be downloaded below. Following  are a few essential details:

• Entry fee will be $40 ($5 for each additional vehicle with a maximum fee of $60)

• No limit on the number of vehicles you may enter

• Parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. and line up will start at 4:00 p.m.

• Commercial vehicles are welcome

PARADE ROUTE: Due to safety concerns, we have decided to keep the parade route as follows: starting on Waugh at Jones St., right on Thornton Ave., left on Morris St., left on Pentz St., left on Waugh St. and ending at the original starting point on Waugh St.

We appreciate your participation and hope that you will join us once again in celebrating this special season. Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 4, 2008!

Proceeds from entry fees are used for the service to the blind and visually impaired. Since 1917, Lions have demonstrated their commitment to sight conservation through eyeglass recycling, sight partnerships and countless other sight services. The Dalton Noon Lions Club is honored to sponsor the 2007 Christmas Parade and to have the opportunity to give something back to our community.
